The official Halo 4 'Awakening' which was released at E3 2011 earlier
this year. QA === Q:Why is Chief's armour different? A: This is
because of certain events that took place in between the Halo 3
ending and the Halo 4 start. Q:Why is Cortana so boring in this?

stage. AI's usually become really calm, and rely on others A LOT when
entering Rampancy. Rampancy is also described as 'when an AI
literally thinks itself to death', which is why Chief was probably
calm. Q: What gun is that? A: You mean that single-use explosive
handgun? We have no idea, but it is new to the game, and it was
probably introduced in the middle events. Q: When will we find out
about these events? A: There is a new halo book coming out entitled
'Glassland', this will descibe EVERYTHING about the prior events.
